I was the first in my generation to volunteer for active duty. The second to graduate from college. Here I am going for another round to achieve a bachelors. Growing up I was always picked on, made fun of, sometimes bullied. People thought that my size and unique thinking, I wasnt going to amount to anything great in life. That I would be the first to mess up not finish high school or even attempt to go to college. But here I am. Standing tall with a college education and continuing to further my knowledge, I served my country, and I have traveled to many places and experienced beautiful things with great people and friendships. I get emotional on this day because not everyone that volunteered is here with us today. So we the survivors ought to give thanks and do good things for people in need. Show appreciation of that freedom that many lives have been sacrificed, so that you dont have to. May our creator bless us all and this fine country of ours The United States of America.
