I was thinking about the possibility of a facebook page for WD19. There is so much people should know about that happens at every meeting. There are regulatory issues where a record has to be kept of all communication from the District..and also an issue of labor to update the page. What do you think of a volunteer force, with someone attending the bi-monthly meetings and reporting on that to the WD19 community? It would take 12 people for a monthly rotation. Please come along to our next meeting (Tues Feb 25, 10am at this stage) where we will be talking about it and tell us what you think. There are a dozen other water districts that have facebook pages..none in Wa. that I can see. I like the idea - but being a non-profit resources are very limited.
