I was thinking of all the things I want to share with you, and I realized how much there is to say I love you. I love you dearly. You are not just my “little” older sister, but you are one of my closest friends. We’ve been through a lot together, and I will always cherish the memories we have created. To watch you grow into a woman, overcome the obstacles with which you were faced, and achieve so much, has been a joy. You were always the cute, sensitive cool sister, while I was the independent, quiet achiever. Things haven’t changed much and we’ve grown to admire each other’s differences, become proud of ourselves, and each other. Can you believe this day if finally here? We have dreamed together of this day for so long and here you are. A bride. The beautiful bride I told you you were going to be. Here you are. At the amazing wedding I promised you. I just hope I could be sister enough, friend enough, support enough.. Here are some more promises I’ll make and keep I promise to always be there for you to anytime I promise to be tough with you when necessary I promise to never stop stealing your stuff, earrings, sweatshirts, etc... You can try to hide them, but I’ll definitely keep finding them as usual! I promise to hug you whenever you need it I promise you to keep our room as messy as you always hated it I promise to love you more than any sister on earth, in a movie or in a novel I love you and I’m going to miss you (which I already do), but I also feel assured that you’re in safe hands. May this be the beginning of a wonderful, happy and healthy, life together…
