I was thinking today about how burnt out I am. I havent edited a radio show in over 2 weeks, Behind on video versions of the show since february 6th, Seriously, listening to peoples terrible life experience for hours a day, years at a time, is quite draining. Been doing so many interviews & protests for so long that Im just completely emotionally exhausted and need like a month off to recuperate at the least. Of course if I did Id have much fewer listeners and many subscribers would probably stop donating regularly, so I would be without an income before long, which would not be good. Considering our washing machine just broke ($300 to replace), Sarahs Van needs a WOF ($35) and more diesel miles ($80), My car needs WOF ($35) and rego ($75), has no gas ($80 full tank) we dont have enough to pay the rent this week yet, ($425) $130 Power bill just came in, I need a new external hard drive to empty out my computers finished videos and archive stuff whichll cost like $250 Our sunroom roof is broken & the landlords arent exactly rushing to fix it even after the cyclone, Theres barely any food in the house & weve had to shop each day because we cant afford a weeks shopping all at once. Worst of all is every day that I sit round NOT editing the interviews with people (because I feel like total shit) makes me feel guilty that Im letting people down and makes me feel even worse!
