I was told today oh I am sorry you are single... why is that looked on as such a bad thing? Yes I have been single for the past 2 years. I will admit there are times it is lonely. Times I wish I had someone to stay up talking to, or have those dates that make you have a smile that wont go away. (Tried dating and all I can do is shake my head). I am more than ok with being single even as hard as it may be. I am taking the time to not only find myself, improve myself and learn to love myself... I am trying to be the mom my kids deserve and that takes top priority. As some of you know I love to get lost in love stories. The idea of escaping the struggles of my own life to watch something beautiful unfold. To keep reminding myself that true love exist. The truth is, I was so caught up in watching them that I wasnt living it. Its easier to sit on the side lines because there is no risk but you dont grow either. I have put the idea of love aside because on all honesty, I cant love a man until I love myself. So with all that said, yes I am glad to be single! God wont put a desire in your heart unless he plans to make it a reality. So my turn will come when God sees I am ready.
