I was told yesterday that my opponent is telling people I received contributions from defense attorneys, as if Im bought. I have received nothing from defense attorneys. Look at my financial contributors on mec.mo.gov and do a search on my name. Defense attorneys have no interest in Div. 3. Div. 3 is family law. Div. II before Judge Schiebe is criminal misdemeanor and Judge Dalton hears felony cases. That will not change. We have had a judge from the City of St. Louis hearing our domestic cases for about 8 years. He is leaving and the elected judge will take over his docket of divorce, child custody, paternity, child support, etc. Family law is my passion and my talent. Because my opponent has been a prosecutor for 23 years, he cannot hear Warren County criminal cases. There are defendants he prosecuted who are on five years probation, so he could not hear a criminal docket anyway because he cant hear probation violation hearings on those defendants, or repeat offenders. This job is hearing family law cases. Thanks for allowing me to clear that up. Please share.
