I was very hesitant to complete this book, but after the first chapter I could not put it down! I loved the honesty and the freedom with which Michelle wrote. She is telling the story of the Palestinian people, a group of people who in the 21st century, are being ignored and even demonized by mainstream media. She goes above the barriers that individual political agendas set for us, and bares the pain that any number of Palestinian families have gone through. I loved her narrative, because I have Palestinian friends who can verify that accounts like these are 100% true, and have been ignored by the world. This is a chance for their true story to be told.
