I was walking along the street when I came across this semi-wet booklet. It said...10 reasons why Jesus came to die...I thought it was one of those slightly annoying evangelical booklets so I walked away...this one caught my attention cos even after playing Candy Crush, I couldnt think of 10 reasons....I could only think of 1...the classic God sent His Son to die for you sins....what were the other 9?? The quizz kid in me just simply wanted to know! The part of me addicted to quizzes, Jeopardy got to me got the better of me. I finally got a chance to open it today. It says:- Jesus came to die #10 To destroy hostility between the races #9 To give marriage its deepest meaning #8 To absorb the wrath #7 So that we would escape the curse of the law #6 To reconcile us to God. #5 To show Gods Love for Sinners like us #4 To show Jesus own Love for us #3 To take away our condemnation #2 To bring us to God. #1 To give eternal life to all who believe on Him... I think I am only interested in the last, i.e. the #1. Who cares about the rest when you can have #1 and play unlimited Candy Crush?? Imagine, when everyone is rehearsing ad nauseum and singing sore-throat in the choirs in Heaven, you can just play Candy Crush....
