I wasnt going to say anything. I really wasnt, because I didnt want to be THAT guy, but Im gonna say it. I dont care if you do not like a person, but making a petition to make them lose work, work that it a part of their career, the thing they have proffessed to do for their entire life, is the douchiest of douchebag things to do. Humans are not objects that you can allow to get by until they served their purpose. Actors are not your performing monkeys. It is so disheartening to see some of the vitriol people spew during cast announcements when I KNOW they use that same breath to brag to people about how they know the VA they were attacking just a day ago. I just cannot get over how when I saw some comments on cast announcements, the rudest people had a LOT of mutual VA friends. So they could SEE that crap! If you want to collect voice actors on Facebook like Pokemon cards, go for it. But openly insulting their peers, contemporaries, FRIENDS? How do you NOT see how awkward that makes us feel? Im not saying people arent entitled to an opinion, but if 75% of my statuses were complaining about horror movies, having Robert Englund on my friends list would not be a priority. If he WAS, I might want to back myself up, because even if Im not directly insulting HIS movie, I have no idea if he meets Chucky or Jason for drinks later, and seeing my status would make him sad. Come on guys. Nobody wants to make Robert Englund sad.
