I watched Flyboys, last night--staring James Franco, Martin Henderson, and Jean Reno (among other skilled actors). It was a very enlightening, moving, and exciting movie about young American men who volunteered to learn to fly and fight with the French in the First World War--when America refused to get involved. Flyboys was written by Phil Sears, Blake T. Evans and David S. Ward; The screen story was penned by Blake T. Evans. Themes explored are friendship, racial prejudice, revenge and love.
