I watched a News Reel showing the Governor of Georgia apologizing for the Dept. of Transportation and Emergency Management Personnel not being better prepared for the storm Wednesday. I admire him for doing that and his willing accepting his share of the responsibility. I am not criticizing those caught up in the gridlock, stranded, their children stranded. Of course they were miserable, worried, frightened and uncomfortable. ------------ But we have to applaud the others not involved in this mess of Gridlock on the Highways. They listened to the news, they kept up to date on the weather reports, they made a choice to stay home themselves and keep their children at home and not send them to school in the unpredictable weather. (I never sent my children to school in dangerous weather.) They stayed off the roads as they were advised to do. They were home with their families, safe, warm, secure because they chose to make decisions for them selves based on their own judgment of the circumstances. EVERYONE BLAMING EVERYONE ELSE FOR THEIR PROBLEMS IS NOT RIGHT. WHEN YOU MAKE DECISIONS IN LIFE, YOU HAVE TO LIVE WITH THEM, WHETHER RIGHT OR WRONG.-----But the main thing everyone needs to remember is Man is not in control the weather, God is. The weather man may predict one thing and it could turn out to be completely opposite.
