I watched a documentary about mind and matter (Holographic Universe). Confusing. Though IMHO the fact that what we consider material reality is a projection in our brains does not prove that there is no reality. It just proves that it might be different from what we think it is. By the way, it is possible to see in complete darkness, I have this experience (a cave, 9 meters below ground). Its just silhouettes, black on black, but the tone of black is a bit different, so you actually see if people are sitting or laying, if they wave a hand or something. I dont know any physical explanation of this, I just know it works. Hmmm... just wondered... can the same be done with eyes closed, or while blindfolded?..
