MOUNTAIN INSTITUTE JOINT TECHNICAL EDUCATION DISTRICT 2014 CRAIG & SANDI BROWN CHINO VALLEY HIGH SCHOOL AGRICULTURE SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION The Craig and Sandi Brown JTED Scholarship for Agriculture shall be awarded to a Chino Valley High School senior who has completed one year in the Agriculture Program. One (1) award in the amount of $500.00 will be awarded to the student who best demonstrates character, citizenship, leadership, and personal achievement in preparation for their future careers. Each candidate shall submit a complete application packet as described below, and must include a JTED/CTE faculty member or administrator recommendation. The scholarship award(s) will be payable directly to the Technical School; Industry Certification Institution, Community College, or other source as agreed upon by awardee and scholarship committee / donor. The donor reserves the right not to award scholarships or to award scholarships in a lesser or greater amount in any given year based upon the quality of the applicants received. The Craig and Sandi Brown Scholarship is non-renewable (meaning this scholarship is a one-time award). Students selected to receive scholarships shall be recognized at the MIJTED Awards banquet on May 6, 2014 at 6:00 pm as well as at their “home” high school scholarship/graduation Awards Ceremony. Students will also be recognized through local media outlets including the MIJTED Newsletter, website, and social media.
