Fist as a tool to passed research information along to my associates and vet schools in the equine industry and later to pass what little knowledge I have learned about horses over my fifty years to members in the equine industry. The decision was reached as I and Bobbie have what we feel is the perfect long term retirement jobs on a very large and very old Texas Ranch for an ole farrier, wrangler, packer, teamster, rancher, cowboy and his long term partner, Dutch oven cook, teamster, cowgirl, saddle fitter, animal/equine health and western store retailer and all around hand. The second reason is the cost to maintain the web site, web address, web hosting. The cost of insurance for the consulting, expert witness and equine/livestock/personal property/real estate appraising business. With the increase in the E & O insurance that is coming up in Oct going from $1000 a year to $8500 (no claims) it is not cost effective to keep this part of the business going any longer. I will complete the three cases I am working on now, but will not take any more. We feel we have helped Randy get somewhat get the Sharon Saare Saddle Company across the transition from her passing to his ownership of the company. It is time for this ole cowboy and partner to pull the plug and ride off into the sunset and enjoy our retirement even more. It is time to let the reins pass on to those younger than we.
