I went for a walk late in the morning before the sun relentlessly - TopicsExpress

I went for a walk late in the morning before the sun relentlessly beat down on this head with hair so thin my thoughts could be seen. As I walked I prayed that this anger that suddenly arises over real or perceived injustices would subside. It upsets me that I become irritated but I am a passionate vato, a man that often speaks before he thinks which is not as easy as it sounds. By the time I reached my destination all that remained of my anger were sparks that were quickly extinguished by the fact that I was tired and breathing as if I had run a marathon in chanclas and a leather trench coat. In this whole process that took me 2.5 miles round trip I discovered that exercise has a way of redirecting that energy spent on being pissed off. The other thing I discovered (what others had already known) that prayer stops short (it is difficult to cuss and pray at the same time) that volcanic eruption of expletives that flow like ash, rock and magma from my mouth, when upset. As the clock now reads 11:00 PM I am in a vastly better mindset I am hopeful, grateful and in need of coffee and a big fat jelly doughnut that oozes out jelly filling as you take a bite. It’s getting late and I need to return to the more serious matter of organizing my shirts by color. Orale!
