I went through this phase where I thought the only time I could find a guy that was interested in me was online, I felt secure and pretty in my pictures and I felt ugly in real life. My senior year ( last year), I had an online relationship for 6 months . I told the guy that I loved him and vice versa . On school nights I would be up until 2am just Macking on the phone or on oovoo lol. I finally met the guy that I considered my first love and he played the shit out of me . That only made it worse, now I felt ugly on the computer and in real life. We just werent made to be with each other. Some people get judged for having a relationship online , but I think thats completely ridiculous considering we live in an era that technology is so prominent. However when I got to college I was losing more weight and I started seeing that I was beautiful and maybe I could find a guy interested in me , even though romance was not my main intent, and getting educated was. I personally find relationships started in person are so much better , through my own experiences and the intimacy is a lot better . You dont have to freak out about having to meet the person for the first time , and you dont have to worry about the kid not liking you for you when you do get to the point where yall do meet in person . Believe me I went through this bs.
