I went to Parkers school this morning to have a meeting with his Title 1 teachers and the Public School employees that did his testing last year. We found out that Parker has dyslexia. This has been the reason for his struggles for the last 4 years. I had the idea in the back of my head when he was mixing up d with b and m with n but never really thought that could be my child. Now that I know why he struggles, I need to find a good method to help him gain the confidence and understanding that he needs to succeed. I will not give up on my child. He is smart and kind and important to me. I will do anything to make life easier even with the struggles that he will face in his future. I love you Parker Man!
