I went to a pancreatic surgeon today because a previous test showed that there was a possible mass on my pancreas. They are pretty sure its not cancer. Thank God! I have to have an endoscopy done and at that time they will pluck tissue from here and there to test. They really dont have an idea of whats wrong yet because the CT scan wasnt clear enough to give answers. The problem with the whole thing is, the veins around my pancreas are swollen and one of the veins thats sort of under the swollen vein is the main artery to my heart and the other vein thats there is the main vein that feeds blood to internal organs. So they told me they have to know with 100% accuracy where all the veins are locate and exactly how swollen they are. Thats what the endoscopy will tell them. I dont have that test scheduled yet. Itll get scheduled on Wednesday.
