I went to a quilting class in a different town and I didnt know anyone. I was pretty much the outsider to the group, but they all said they had to wrap the class up early so they could go cook dinner. One of the ladies said oh I am sure you want to leave right away because you have to travel home and cook dinner. I said no, I just have dinner going in my crock pot and they all looked at me as if I had grown a third eye or something. They proceeded to tell me that they would NEVER do that. If I have a quilt class or club or even if I want to just quilt all day I use the crock pot. I thought this is pretty common. Do yall use a crock pot on your sewing days?
