You have graciously invited me and all our warm and fuzzy creatures into your daily lives, your enthusiasm for our farm humbles and encourages me, and for this I am deeply grateful. A few things key things I need to mention as we bring on the New Year: Many of you know that Richard Snyder, of Snyder Quality Llamas, PA, passed away suddenly. Richard has had llamas for many, many years and was a big supporter of all things llama, and a very kind and gentle man. Many of us from the llama community (members of GALA), helped to re-home his llama herd. We would like to give a HUGE thank you to Abbie Brown (and hubby Joe), Farm Managers at SQL for orchestrating all of this so quickly, and with so much heart, at this most difficult time. About 3 weeks ago, we brought 4 llamas to their forever home here at Dakota Ridge Farm (see photos). We are so in love with these girls.
