I went to have a MRI this morning.The procedure was to take 1 hour and 45 minutes,Were you are to lay flat in go into this long tube like machine.I made it for the 45 minutes then I had to stop,The pain was starting to shoot from my lower back all down my right leg.What I found to be really strange was the two nurses that were there with me,I had to explain what Sickel Cell was and how it had been a life time problem that I was born with.And when I told them what type of medication i was on they both had a baffled look.Education is greatly needed when it comes to certain chronic diseases in the medical field.Just a personal observation as long as Sickel Cell Disease has been around you would have thought that more Doctors and Nurses would be alittle more informed then what they are!!!!!!!!
