I will always remember this day like it was yesterday! It started on Thur Oct 21, 1982. My water broke that day. My Dr sent me home Fri & Sat when I went to see him,,but that Sun 10-24 82 I went to the ER & refused to go home! Nooo not going home this day because now Im feeling some pain! For 4 days I was losing over 5 lbs of fluid, but I did go into full blown labor Tues 10-26-82. My Dr called in Dr Collins Williams who informed me that I would be having a c-section because my baby wasnt coming on down in the birth canal. I was good with that cause by then I was tired. Well the Dr left town on emergency and I was mortified, didnt know what to do exept panic! For 2 more days all I did was scream at everybody who came in my room until the Dr came back! He examined me & said to my Dr,,oh she dont need a c-section now shes 6 centimeters! I was very angry with them both, but less that 30 min later I had the most beautiful baby boy! Jessie Mcgrew!!! Five hours later I was holding my bundle of joy in my arms, & fell deeply in love with my son. It seems like I had been preggers for a whole year, but then it was over! Happy Birthday to my intelligent, handsome, son who I love with a passion that will never die! Have a blessed day son & turn up your way! Mom loves you to life!
