I will be signing copies of my book, Justice For The Black Knight, at the Lone Oak Cemetery moonlight tour on Thursday, October 9, 2014. The tour should be quite enjoyable and interesting. There are so many memories and so much history in Lone Oak. Last time I was there, I said good-bye to one of the sweetest women I have ever known, Virginia Knowles, and planted a kiss on the gravestone of my pre-high school idol, Deena Legette. I can still remember standing there when I was thirteen and she was actually being buried. It was my first experience with the death of a peer and I was overcome with grief and wrestling with the reality that someone as kind, beautiful, and vibrant as she was could be gone from the Earth in a heartbeat. I can tell you that her memory has stayed with me throughout my life and still makes me smile. Anyway, Im sure the moonlight experience will be a great one.
