I will be the first to say that midland drivers suck in icy weather ...BUT!! I was on the road for a total of about 15 or 20 minutes tops today. Around 4:30, the roads were crazy... Ive never been on such slick roads like this. I spun out and slid several times without doing anything dangerous at all. A couple of times at around 5mph. Once I went spinning at 15mph and could have easily flipped my truck because of the way the ice patch seemed to shoot me side ways, adding speed.... I corrected and got back in my lane just before another vehicle came around the curve almost plowing head on into me....The brake was a death sentence, even barely touching them... My tires felt frozen...Its an odd ice...slippery... I can barely stand or walk on the ground at all.... Lots of wrecks, cracked wrists and asses tonight out there....be careful folks!!
