I will bring them back to this place and make them dwell in - TopicsExpress

I will bring them back to this place and make them dwell in safety. They shall be My people, and I will be their God; and I will give them one heart and one way, that they may fear Me always, for their own good and for the good of their children after them. I will make an everlasting covenant with them that I will not turn away from them, to do them good; and I will put the fear of Me in their hearts so that they will not turn away from Me. I will rejoice over them to do them good and will faithfully plant them in this land with all My heart and with all My soul. Jeremiah 32:27-41 Gods declaration to the portion of Israel carried off to the Babylonian captivity that they would return after 70 years and be blessed after being refined and disciplined by God. But those who were left behind and undisciplined were the rotten figs discarded because of being rotten and corrupt. Which will we be? Filled with the fear of the Lord (fear meaning mingled love, hope and fear, not terror) or shall we be undisciplined and incautious? With the one there is hope that the individuals can be restored to rightful living and relationship. With the other, there is no real hope. I presume that you, like myself, choose the fear of the Lord and the well-being for now and forever that goes along with that. God Himself promises to rejoice over and to do them good and faithfully plant them with all His heart and with all His soul. Let us surrender to the One who seeks our good!
