I will give OReilly credit. When he knows his opponent is obviously his intellectual superior, he throws off the buffoonery and acts respectful. There really is one beautiful exchange in here. Dawkins does concede that all the Founders believed the Christian religion was a positive influence on society. I would argue that as Jesusism more than Christianity. However, shockingly OReilly concedes the founders were all all secularists, citing religious persecution in Europe as the motivating factor. Truth is folks, believe it or not, Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, and Bill OReilly are intelligent people. Half of what they do is schtick for the right wing audience. Professional blowhards. Rush Limbaugh admitted it decades ago when he first gained a national audience. When NAB gave him his first award, he told them his love was radio entertainment and if the whole talk thing fell through, he would love going back to spinning records.
