I will not shut out the lessons that they teach!” ― Charles Dickens, A Christmas [NOTE: Before Y2K Robert made me a Advent Nativity Manger where little pieces of pine boughs or straw are added daily (?) throughout Advent for each good deed a person does---in preparation to make a soft bed to lay the infant Jesus on Christmas Night.] Yesterday was Epiphany or 3 Kings Day of Adoration by the Magi and TODAY is the proper time to put Christmas things away~ but I hate to put Christmas away and will enjoy it for another week! P.S. It was so easy to use my PVC & Funnel to water my green tree that it is still fresh a month later! It is still my cherished tradition to bring out my little manger reminding me Robert could do so many creative things like remodeling and to make bird houses and this manger for me.
