I will never understand why some people who say they support feminism, choose to deride women who freely *choose* to be housewives. Surely that is antithetical to what feminism actually stands for? Anybody should have the option to pursue a career if that is what they wish, but not everyone wants a career, including many women. If they want to devote themselves to housework and caring for their children, if *that* is what makes them happy, then that choice should be respected and encouraged as much as another womans choice to become a lawyer or a doctor. Any so-called feminist who bullies women for exercising their choice to be stay-at-home mothers, etc, is small-minded and hypocritical.
