I will no longer feed Banquet frozen entrees to my little dog, and - TopicsExpress

I will no longer feed Banquet frozen entrees to my little dog, and I wrote to ConAgra and told them so. If it isnt fit for me to eat, it is not fit for Buddy to eat. The turkey and gravy smelled and tasted rancid. The label said only white meat turkey was used, but anyone could see that some of the slices were very dark. (I did not taste the meat.) I have nothing against dark meat, but ConAgra does not practice truth in advertising. I used to feed my family Banquet frozen entrees years ago, but the quality AND quantity of meat in them has deteriorated. There may be enough mystery meat in the turkey entrée for two people. I suspect that out of date frozen turkeys (and who knows what else) that didnt sell in the grocery stores are used to make this product. The Banquet frozen beef patties are nothing to brag about, either. I think I will just buy Buddy a whole chicken and make him some gravy myself. The gravy in Banquet frozen entrees had some scary ingredients. I also add brown rice, carrots, and green beans to his meat and gravy. Buddy loves chicken livers, but after gobbling up some I made awhile back, he didnt eat again for about 24 hrs. They may be too rich for him. Any opinions? He seems to like canned salmon fried with eggs very well. And Buddy always eats his carrots and green beans. I am staying on my vegetarian, sometimes vegan, diet very well. However, I plan to break bad at the all-you-can eat Hibachi restaurant food bar tomorrow. :D
