I wish everyone in this world were as kind as my Max. On the evening we left Vegas, we realized that we had an unused pre-paid ticket to the famous Rio Buffet, touted as the largest buffet in the world. It was a shame that it would now go in the garbage. As we checked out and waited at the Venetian lobby for our shuttle, and as we discussed the waste of the ticket, Max suddenly said, wait here and disappeared running down the hotel walkway. We only had 5 minutes before our shuttle would arrive! Where could he be going at this time? When he returned, he was completely out of breath. But beaming. What on earth? Max had gone as fast as he could into the Vegas Strip to find a homeless man, down on his luck, and gave him the buffet ticket, and a caring word or two. So proud of this wonderful and deeply caring human being, I call my husband. The world needs more people like him.
