I wish to pay tribute and express my appreciation to the under-mentioned members who I accompanied on a battlefield tour to Namibia and southern Angola in October 2010. The tour was organised by 61 Mechanised Battalion Group under the guidance of our friend, the legendary Sergeant Major (Retired) Koos Moorcroft. These veteran soldiers played an important part in motivating me to write Eye of the Firestorm.
