I wish to pay tribute and express my appreciation to the under-mentioned members who I accompanied on a battlefield tour to Namibia and southern Angola in October 2010. The tour was organised by 61 Mechanised Battalion Group under the guidance of our friend, the legendary Sergeant Major (Retired) Koos Moorcroft. These veteran soldiers played an important part in motivating me to write Eye of the Firestorm. Their names are: Mike Beyl; Andre Bezuidenhoudt; Louis Bothma; Camille Burger; Rudolph Burger; PW de Wet; Graham Dickson; Terence Doyle; Dave Fell; Deon Joubert; Deon Lamprecht; Ted Liebenberg; John McMahon; Koos Moorcroft; Kenneth Schwartz; Efpe Senekal; Jaap Steyn; Krige van Heerden. It would be great if you could place some of your favourite photographs of the October 2010 battlefield tour to Namibia and Angola on the Eye of the Firestorm page!
