I witnessed an awful car accident tonight on route 1.an 18 wheeler was traveling south on RT 1 and an SUV ran a red light --- ( coming out of the Walmart exit ) the tractor trailer slammed into them. The young driver of the trucked seemed ok . The couple in the SUV had to be removed with the jaws of life, they were hurt but they were talking an able to answer questions . It was a mess! The driver of the truck was in his early 20s and the company was based in Oklahoma. He was scared and cold , I gave him my Boston strong hoodie ,( it seemed fitting)) All 3 were brought to the hospital. I was so impressed with all involved , the other witnesses, the fire department and police. Wishing all ,health and peace and recovery!!
