I woke up happy that its sunny but cant help feeling disgusted remembering that past 2AM this morning I went around to monitor how secured our city was only to notice that nobody was manning our checkpoints. Except for a handful that I saw the bulk of them were not in sight. In fact I used a private car last night without any vehicle pass and still got to maneuver the whole stretch of RT Lim Boulevard, Camins Avenue, Guiwan Highgway, Veterans Avenue, Gov. Lim Avenue, Buenavista without any police or military stopping my vehicle. In fact I did not see any of them. The only place I saw 2 policemen was at the Putik MCLL highway and oh, I also saw container vans and some trucks coming out of the seaport past 2 am. Some of the trucks were loaded with sacks of rice. I really feel disappointed. Havent we learned a lesson from the siege? Is it in our culture or what? Something has to be done. WAKE UP POLICE! WAKE UP AFP!!!
