I woke up thinking about the death of Robin Williams. A comedian and actor par excellence. The man who put so many smiles and laughter in our faces while he suffered from a depression so bad that he took his own life. They say we teach what we need to learn most. I know this is true in my case because I teach a lot of things that I need to learn. On a daily basis I learn, I fine tune some and I master some, I fail dismally at others. I try by all means to practice that which I preach/teach. So Williams death caused by the opposite of what he did/taught got me thinking about the shocking things we hear that are done by those who purpot to do the opposite. -The pastor who has slept with the entire congregation while preaching faithfulness. - The school teacher who refuses to learn - The motivational speaker that is lazy with no goals nor plans. - The jealous friend who claims your undying support. - The leader with neither scrupuls nor integrity. The list is endless.
