I woke up this morning to a rather cheerful vision of Rik Mayall, he said Hello Snotface, welcome to the telly and disappeared. It got me thinking about the movie Drop Dead Fred even though a work of fiction it dealt with the fact kids can see spirits who eventually have to leave (the spooks not the kids) and go on to other kids. Its like Star Trek, mobile phones, skype, laptops and ipads even before we had a decent desktop computer model. There are so many apparent works of fiction that seem to be more a peek at the shape of things to come...remember around the world in 80 days, it was considered so fanciful when the movie was made but now we can do it in record time (granted we need a Gulfstream Jet!) in 42 hours...what other apparent works of fiction, movies , books or other do you think was spook showing us a little of the shape of things to come? Dont call me Snotface!
