I woke up yesterday morning to find an invasion of gnats in my kitchen....all that was out was bananas.....little pests they are...I had the same problem about this time last year, seems like they pop up over night by the hundreds...however, a friend of mine told me what to do to catch them and Id like to share this with you if your having this problem. Get a small glass or cup, put a piece of fruit, I have used cantalope this time, put it in the glass/cup and get a baggie to put over the top of the glass and pull it snug and put a rubber band around the top, then take a straight pen or use the tip of a knife and poke a few small holes in the baggie...they can get in but cant get out...let it sit there overnight and you will wake up to gnats in the glass...lol...
