I wonder : Suppose the Braking-system of a motor vehicle can conserve its Momentum and Stores as Strain Energy it can reduce a lot of : 1.High fuel consumption in the first gear at the time of starting. 2.Wear tear due to Braking. 3.loss of Mometum when Clutch paddle is pressed. The proposed arrangement will consist of following : 1.A heavy Fly wheel . 2.A mechanism to get the fly wheel engaged at the time of application of Brakes. 3.A Helical Spring to store all the Energy as in a Clock Work Mechanism. 4.A means to Release this Strain Energy stored in the Rotated Spring so as to give an intial thrust at the time of re-starting from zero or in between too.
