I wonder if anyone who care to explain who actually is behind Measure HH. I could not write down fast enough the BELMONT, CA person and registration info before it was masked over by anonymous info: Registrant Street: P.O. Those persons are concealing identities and pretending they are in Panama. Who is the consultant in Belmont? Who is paying them? So I am suppose to support a tax measure which says it goes to X when there is absolutely no legal requirement for the next city council to spend the money on X. I am suppose ignore the only funding supporters of this tax are beneficiaries of this tax, the departing Mayor and an former city manager. Tired of driving on streets w/ potholes and cracks they say but the general tax use increase, by law, does not restrict the money to go to this city councils wishes or these tax increase backers as they keep insisting. If it were a restricted use tax - it would require a 2/3rds majority, not 51%, to pass. When HH does not work to fill the budget gaps or they spend it elsewhere, what is next? A 24% housing tax like is proposed this election in San Francisco?
