I wonder if the do-nothing repubs will shoot themselves in the foot this year. Maybe these are small potato tax breaks that they dont need. It is unconscionable to me that tax laws that affect businesses into the next year cannot be considered with any certainty when delay tactics are used down to the wire (and it is too late to decide after Dec. 31st). Last year I had to wait until a law was finalized in March before I could file a return for a client who was ready to file on Feb 1. The unwilling-to-govern politicians are causing delays to individuals in their personal fiscal responsibilities. That is not democracy. Only 6 days at work this month and out by December 13? They govern like juveniles.
