I wonder if we saw the best game of referendum chess ever last - TopicsExpress

I wonder if we saw the best game of referendum chess ever last night? Debate 1 held on STV reaching 1.2m viewers but only broadcast in Scotland, 3 weeks ago versus (cant find viewing figs yet) a prime time BBC debate broadcast nationally. 2 debates where AS allows AD to totally show his hand, doesnt give mega polished arguments and looks foolish, only to come back on the attack in round 2 with solutions to tricky points and on the attack against social issues that AS knows the voters care deeply about. Poking holes in AD arguments, getting him to verbally concede on many of the points he needed, and a very public opportunity to influence postal voters on the eve of the start of voting. Call me a cynic, but I do reckon that AS and his team are running a very carefully planned campaign which I look at and cant help admire. From their use of social media in the launch, to the debate last night and much in between, there is much for a strategic planner (like me) to admire
