I wonder of anyone wants their child to participate in standardized testing with so much pressure on the teacher, the school, and most importantly, their own child. I never hear anyone say, I love how many tests my child takes. I think its great that we retain children based off one test score regardless of accuracy or what research says about retention. Children need to poop their pants out of fear of making a mistake or not being smart enough. Classroom curriculum should be narrow and focus on isolated facts to pass tests. I want my child to become a professional test taker. Silence is support.
