I wonder what it takes to make a bully justify themselves? I have been receiving spiteful private messages from another person who is erroneously convinced that his tirade of misplaced abuse will make a difference to my vote. It is absolutely absurd. I can only assume there is some sort of financial gain for this person behind this attack considering his work-like pattern of posting or maybe simply a biased fanatic. A Better Together puppet groomed for this purpose? A money worshipping neo-liberalist, not from this country, not entitled to vote and blinded by spite? He does the following: 1) Says he hopes that - my hope will be betrayed on Sept 18th. 2) Accuses me of ignorance. 3) Makes broad assumptions about what I am thinking in an accusative manner. 4) Accuses me of being selfish and not thinking about the effect on other people. 5) Insults me by asking if my reading comprehension is above secondary school level. 6) Insults my family by wondering how my parents brought me up. 7) Further insults me by calling me a moron. 8) Insults the lower working classes by calling them colonial workie scum. 9) Tells me to stay away from a local bar, just in case, if he happens to be in the country, I should run into him there (Not that I even drink there ... Ive been there twice in my entire life). 10) Brands the Yes movement and SNP as separationist scums. 11) Hopes that, due to unspecified bad experiences he had when in this country (possible plant to play on peoples reaction to racism), YES voters will be doomed. 12) Ridiculously backtracks when he realises he doesnt know me ... possibly realises Im too well-educated, too sensible to succumb to such an assault (Ive had years of practice being the subject of both bullying and racism after all ...) And, apparently ... he wants to see Scotland remain part of the most peaceful and successful union of nations in the world!! If only this person actually understood, I mean that, UNDERSTOOD, that peaceful is not a word that can be applied to the success of the bullying upper classes that raped the resources of many nations around the globe ... nevermind the pitiful region known as Scotland. We need our own democratic voice, we need to break free and we need to fight the greed that divided our nation on multiple occasions where greed for the promise of land and power gave the Scottish elite of those times the excuse to serve our nation to the crown on a plate. We need the Scottish voice to mean something. We need to be able to build this country without the burden of Westminster control. That is the crux of the matter ... OUR voice ... OUR country ... OUR voice that will be louder in OUR country of 5+ million than in a combined number of 63+ million for the UK. The smaller the ant-hive the better. I want nothing to do with the elitist politics of the Conservatives, I want nothing to do EVER with racist parties/movements such as UKIP and Britain First. I want distance from UK bullying in other countries. I want to be a part of something new and at least have a chance of shaping the politics of OUR nation even if it is just with a vote, or two, or 300 ... And, lastly, if my bully happens to read this ... youre wasting your time ... I voted 2 days ago ...
