I wonder what people think Facebook is? Now, yesterday one of my Facebook friends, a self proclaimed man of God decided to brush shoulders with some of us - NKIDONGI. In his post Pastor Haron Oloruma cowardly uploaded a picture of H.E Mokompo the famous and iconic prominent Maasai Laibon from Loita. He went ahead to insult the old man that he is misleading the Maasai community with his prophecies. This guy countered himself by saying that H.E The President of the Republic of Kenya Hon Uhuru Kenyatta went to him before the 2012 election(I wonder what elections were held in 2012 - Maybe his school prefects election). Just that you know, I am a son to a respected clergyman who is also son to a respected Maasai Laibon H.E Mesopiro Ole Kereto. Its high time; 1. Christians like him in Kenya understand that everyone has the right of worship and bulldozing people to your religion will only amount to destruction 2. We have no apologies for subscribing to any prophecy or tradition we found our great grandfathers practicing. 3. The Constitution of the Republic of Kenya protects cultures and traditions and not religions. Just because you want likes and comments does not allow you to post pictures of people without their consent and or credit. Section 14(2) of Facebook Statement and Responsibilities states the following; 1. For content that is covered by intellectual property rights, like photos and videos (IP content), you specifically give us the following permission, subject to your privacy and application settings: you grant us a non-exclusive, transferable, sub-licensable, royalty-free, worldwide license to use any IP content that you post on or in connection with Facebook (IP License). This IP License ends when you delete your IP content or your account unless your content has been shared with others, and they have not deleted it. 2. When you delete IP content, it is deleted in a manner similar to emptying the recycle bin on a computer. However, you understand that removed content may persist in backup copies for a reasonable period of time (but will not be available to others). He has since blocked me and deleted the post. A grandson of H.E Mokompo Mr. Olody Baary and I will take legal action against Haron and he will be a lesson to many. #WeAreStillOne
