I wont sympathise with the people of Akure on the desecration of their honour and dignity by Governor Mimiko. They deserve the messy heap the man is piling on their heads now. When they had every opportunity to change his government lawfully two years ago, they provided the most needed support for him. Even the late Deji of Akure supported Mimiko overtly and covertly. I remember vividly how many bigwigs in Akure land were all over the place canvassing support for the governor. I remember the anti-party action of some PDP big shots from Akure who sacrificed their partys candidate because of some bucks given to them. They should not cry. And if they do, I have no time to extend my sympathy to them. Now they can see through the lies. The head is off already. Too late to shed any tears.
