I won’t lie, I’m sad this morning – I lost a job I really loved but I said the same thing when my appointment went through, it doesnt matter if I’m on Council or not, I will still be at Council meetings, still doing my homework and still hoping for changes. I want to say a huge thank you to the people who offered genuine help. I will freely admit I’m a terrible politician and was hesitant running my own campaign. I’m thankful that my life will get back to normal soon. I definitely still have plenty of important work to fill my days. I have to say a huge congratulations to Sue Larimer and Cal Smith for being chosen for school board. You are two of the hardest working people I know – there are some serious challenges facing our schools and I know you will do and awesome job on school board. Finally, I want to say congratulations to the gentlemen that were chosen for the three Council positions. You ran good campaigns and I know the City will be in good hands.
