I work the Dragon lady. I can say first hand that the Global Hawk cant even come close to the U-2. This is not a pride thing I am talking about here. The U-2 is a tried and true platform with no rivals. The only thing that has changed the governments mind is the manufacture of the Global Hawk has stuffed there pockets with money. If you read the reports from the past it will say the U-2 is cheaper to fly and much more reliable. Now in the past two months the report has changed to say the Global Hawk is now a LITTLE cheaper to fly, thats it. The U-2 has a 90+% mission reliability, Global Hawk is in the 30%. You tell me how that happens!!!! ITS CALLED A GOVERNMENT PAY OFF PEOPLE !!!!!!
