I would also like you to meet Goombah who is an 11 month old purebred rottie. His previous owner was chronically ill and could not care for him any longer. He is currently being fostered at chandler dogs 24/7(doggie day care center) so he is obviously good with other dogs, but that environment for too long can and does cause physiological problems with these pups. Recently, Goombah has started showing aggressive behavior towards strangers. If you are introduced to Goombah correctly, he will quickly accept you as a new friend and everything will be fine. However, when he first sees you, he may lunge at the end of his leash until his handler corrects him. We believe that this behavior is a side effect of living with so much going on around him at all times of the day. We are looking for a foster home for goombah asap before he gets any worse. We prefer a home with no children or a home that does not have a lot of traffic coming in and out. Cats are unknown. If you would like to meet Goombah, I will be bringing him to my house on thursday to join us in the thursday night pack walk. Last week he did wonderful on the walk. I even had to pass him off to a stranger to him half way through the walk and he accepted that fine. He is a very handsome purebred rottie.
