I would be very happy, just to have 50% of all our Elected Tribal Leaders Women. I also, would like to see, equal representation on all our Boards, Committees. Our Colville Tribe should also pass a Resolution in our Tribal Government, 50% of all Managers, Directors are Women. If no qualified Female Candidates are available, the 2nd (Second in Charge), must be a Woman and the Male Counterpart is only able to work (3) months, or less, working with his Co-Worker. Both shall have equal pay during this Transition period. After the (3) month contract is up, the Male counterpart, may be retained on Contract or Permanent employment @ 30% less. (Which in American 2015, females make 70% of all male co-workers?) I say, we Change our Leadership roles to reflect our Sincerest Respect, Appreciation for the Hard Work, Devotion, Loyalty, Strength and Wisdom Native American Women bring to our Leadership Councils and Key Tribal Positions of Authority. (I also, believe, our Tribe would solve the problem with our Council authorizing the Killing of Wolves on our Colville Indian Reservation). These are Man Rules. Women dont think with Guns or Razor Tipped Arrows. Females think like Mothers, and respect for the Earth Mother and Creator, not Ego or selfish interest promoting Cattle, Sheep or Pig Ranches which Pollute our Streams, Rivers, Lakes and Watershed. (We need clean water to drink and grow our gardens and herbs, to promote good health and vitality for our People). Passing Resolutions or Laws that limit each Family and/or Parcel, to One Livestock per family member within the Boundaries of our Reservation, would effectively shut down the Major Polluters. No Exceptions......Let these Destroyers of our Reservation damage their own Lands outside of our 1.4million Colville Reservation...Its time for Change.
