I would hate to be a Black celebrity. We expect too much from each - TopicsExpress

I would hate to be a Black celebrity. We expect too much from each other. We expect a rapper in 2015 to be Malcolm X, meanwhile many of us work in corporate America straightening our hair and saying yes massa to a white boss. Why leave the revolution to a rapper whose getting checks from a white owned record company? We were just supporting Lamar who lost to Macklemore at the awards, saying whites are taking over hip hop. Now we boycott him because he supports a white woman getting her money and think blacks should build their own communities up. How silly, when it was blacks who signed sealed and delivered iggy azaelia. When do we uplift each other? Do we just simply blame white people while we get our nails done at Korean shops, hair from Malaysia and watch black women fight in the Roman coliseum otherwise known as VH1 and now Bravo? When we do own our own, what do we do with it? We sell it or disgrace it. A BLACK woman directs a black woman to sleep with a white president and black women are overjoyed. We dragged bill cosby for telling our youth to pull their pants up but excused the rapes. The revolution will be televised because it is the white supremacy who enslaves us by making us think slavery is a revolution. Enlighten yourself beyond simplistic ideology, Kendrick lamar is deeper than the average industry slave. Azealia banks is a pawn, a paid distraction. Angry at other blacks and getting paid by whites. Her music is never as revolutionary as her tweets.
