I would just like to inform everybody that today is a very important day. Why? Because it’s my mom’s birthday. Now, you may think “oh, it’s just another birthday,” but it’s not. This woman is someone to be celebrated. She goes to work every day, sees the lowest of the low, scumbags, unthinkable things, and yet she comes home afterward always with a smile on her face. She puts her children not only first no matter what, but spoils us to no end. I’ve gotten a very expensive Bruce Springsteen ticket, multiple trips to Disney World and Las Vegas, two vehicles, and let’s not forget who flew me down to Florida to get me (as she likes to say) situated there for my internship, and not only me, but my roommate as well, and then at the end of my program, who flew down again to not only get me packed up and ready to leave, but also to have a vacation while we were all there. There are so many things that my mom has done for me, and if I listed each one, it would take all night and you would get mighty tired of reading. So I’ll just say this. I love my mom more than anything, I am forever in her debt, I love her to death, and you all better know it too. I love you mom. Hope you had a wonderful birthday.
